Being stressed is not a good feeling nor is it good for your health. Stress is one of the main causes of most diseases, including cancer. It can trigger other diseases as well. If you look at the risk factors or causes of most diseases, it is listed in almost all kinds of diseases known in the medical and health care field. It is not clearly defined though, because it may have different meaning depending on the field it is used or the context in which it is used. However, in the field of medicine or in the health field, it is always related to have a negative impact or effect on one's health and as mentioned, it is always related to different diseases.

Some studies say that being too stressed can weaken your immune system and if it is already weakened, you are more prone in being sick or acquiring any other disease. This is because when you are stressed your body has a way of sensing it and it reacts. For example, your acid production in the stomach increases, thus making you more prone in having ulcer. Sometimes it may even affect your heart, thus making one more prone in having arrhythmias or in worst cases heart attack.

If not all, a lot of medical conditions are related to it. That is why they say that if you want to have a healthy lifestyle, one of the things that you should avoid is being stressed because for some it may just be a triggering factor but for some other diseases, it could be the main cause. It is okay to think of the things that are bothering you or any worries that you have, but you have to make sure that you do not dwell too much on it to the point of it affecting your health. Too much of anything is not good, that means that too much worrying is not good for your physical or mental being.

No matter how healthy your lifestyle is, or if you have a healthy body physically, but if you are stressed most of the time you are still at the risk of acquiring different diseases. So, if you want a healthier you, inside and out, you should have a stress-free life. Do not be stressed over things, always be optimistic and positive on all things. Look on the brighter side of things and in return have a good health physically and mentally.
